DANCING SWISS MALT TVC

Here are some 'frames' from our animated TV commercial from the 1990's. Also some of the behind-the-scenes images that were created during the making of the commercial. All the "characters" were built as 3D computer models and then animated to move in time to the music.

To create the pancakes we had one of our chefs cook some 'perfect' pancakes, making sure they were browned just right. These were then scanned into the computer and applied to the 3D models that were built, creating some very realistic-looking pancakes for the commercial.

The main character in the commercial was our Swiss Mountain Malt. Although the Malt had a brief 'non-speaking' part, this character has developed quite a following.

Immediately the commercial was on air, we had a lot of requests for 'that big drink in the commercial' at the restaurants. We very quickly created the new poster (on the right).

We are still serving the swiss mountain malts in the restaurants however now they now come in large pint mugs.
